Margaret Wambui Nyaga is a mother of five (5). She is currently the Programme Manager, KCCB- Commission for Education& Religious Education; Coordinator for the Commission Child Protection Programme; Peace Building and Counter-violence programme; Parental Empowerment and Engagement Programme; CRE In-service Training; Pastoral Care& Instruction Programmes (Secondary) schools programmes: Member, KICD Academic Committee.

She has also served for over thirty years in both in several capacities in private and public sector including; – Programme Officer at KCCB- Commission for Education& Religious Education (National Primary Schools Religious Education Programme (NPSREP) and Child Safety and Protection Programme (CSPP) – 2011- 2013; Consultant with KCCB- Commission for Education & Religious Education (for NSREP) – April 1, 2010- December 31, 2010; Part time lecturer at Egerton University, (Faculty of Education)2007- 2010; Programme Manager at the now Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI),2007; Dean of Students Welfare at Highridge Teachers, College Nairobi 2004- 2006; Principal at Consolata Girls Secondary School, Embu County- 1998 – 2004; Dean of Curriculum Studies at Marks TTC, Kigari, Embu 1993- 1997; among others.

Mrs. Nyaga holds Master of Education for Primary Teacher Education/ with dissertation on values education in primary schools; Certificate in Basic Counselling Skills; Higher Diploma in Counselling Psychology (training, dissertation and practicum) and Bachelor of Education for secondary school learners (3 years professional training).
